We see a humanity opening its heart, its spirit, and reaching out to those who are in pain.
Swamini Turiyasangitananda (from Sept. 11, 2005 discourse)
Swamini A.C. Turiyasangitananda establish The Vedantic Center in 1976 as a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit spiritual organization. In 1973, The Vedantic Center was relocated to an ashram on a 48-acre parcel of land. Swamini envisioned the ashram as a spiritual refuge and sanctuary where seekers of all faiths can develop devotion for God. Her vision for the ashram included spiritual retreats, with a library containing holy books reflective of the worlds religions, and so much more.
